The People
The United Kingdom is made up of the countries of England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Because of this, many ethnicities, races, religions, and cultures are seen. As the UK is very diverse, people are harmonious when welcoming others, and in fact, it is illegal to discriminate in this region ("Life in the UK"). Along with diversity coming from the member countries, the UK welcomes diversity with allowing large amounts of immigrants and refugees to enter their countries ("Life in the UK"). Even though the official religion of the region is Protestant, all religions are practiced here. Everything from Judaism to Buddhism is seen and fully welcomed ("UK Guide"). Arts and popular culture are very important to the citizens of the UK. Dance, theatre, visual art, and singing are just some of the important aspects of entertainment in the UK ("UK Guide").

The Region
What makes the United Kingdom beautiful is the hybrid of four cultures into one. The UK is made up of two main islands: one with Northern Ireland, and the other housing England, Scotland, and Wales ("Life in the UK"). The UK is bordered by four different bodies of water. They include: the English Channel, the North Sea, the Irish Sea, and the Atlantic Ocean ("Geography of the UK"). However, the most beautiful thing about the UK is the various historical monuments and structures that are found across all four nations. In England, one can find Westminister Abbey, Stonehenge, and the Buckingham Palace (Porter). Landmarks in Scotland include Abbotsford and Clan Macrae ("Historic Attractions and Places to Visit in Scotland"). Wales is home to the beautiful Caernarfon Castle and Portmeirion (Dearsley). Northern Ireland encompasses the Titanic Belfast and Carrickfergus Castle (Birbeck). Even though all of these monuments and landmarks are beautiful on their own, a new beauty is created when they are viewed together and reflect on the diverse nature of the region.

Challenges
Currently, the biggest challenge the UK faces is the Brexit movement. Britain's exit will influence all aspects of the United Kingdom, from the government to the economy. One part of the problem of Brexit is the fact that the UK will have to negotiate with the EU in order to decide how assets will be divided and the future rights of the people (Peter). Another piece to the puzzle that is Brexit is trade. The UK will no longer be apart of the negotiations they were under while apart of the European Union. Trade with 53 countries will ended (Peter). The final struggle that has been brought forth with Brexit is a challenge surrounding immigration. There are many EU citizens living in the UK and vice versa. Because of this, racism has sparked between the two. The only solution to this problem is to create new rules for migrants (Peter).
